The Milwaukee River Cruise Line offers the Classic Dinner Cruise. While on the two-hour cruise, guests dine on a three-course meal that includes a dinner salad, grilled steak and chicken, garlic mashed potatoes, vegetables and a dessert. On Friday nights the menu changes to grilled salmon and oven roasted potatoes as the main entrée, while on Thursdays the menu offers an Italian feast.

The cruise departs from the company’s location on Highland Avenue. Winding through downtown Milwaukee, the Milwaukee River provides a venue for the city’s dinner cruise options. While dining on board one of the river’s boats, guests sail through the city, pausing only for bridges to lift and allow passage.

The Margarita Fiesta Cruise on one of Milwaukee River Cruise Line’s Edelwiess boats offers guests tacos and all-you-can-drink margaritas. The taco bar has all of the staples, including shells, beef, lettuce, salsa, cheese, sour cream and jalapenos. For those who prefer a different drink, the Margarita Fiesta has a cash bar that is open throughout the 90-minute cruise. The cruises run from May to October, and Edelweiss Boats recommends reservations. All guests must be 21 years old or older with a valid ID to board the ship.
Menu choices include dishes such as baked rum chicken with banana salsa, boiled shrimp, flat iron stake, barbecue salmon or grilled choice tenderloin. Drink options include soft drinks, beer, wine, rum punch and some liquors but the included drinks depend on the dinner package you reserve. All dinner cruises last two hours and require 20 to 30 people minimum, depending on the package chosen. Cruises depart from Pere Marquette Park on Old World Third Street in the downtown region. This cruise is perfect for anyone looking for a unique date night or for entertaining out-of-town guests. Customer service took care of me just fine, captain was cool, first mate was chill, they let us have our fun on the boat and have a great time. Extra wide and motorized wheel chairs will not fit through our boarding ramp. Kick your event up a notch by adding live entertainment and a custom bar package. Whether it's a weekday luncheon or a sunset celebration, we offer a wide array of menus to fit any occassion.
Bus drivers should return to the same place they unloaded passengers after the cruise is completed. All private charters MUST be booked at least 3 weeks in advance of the event date. We do require a 50% deposit to hold your date and time. Two weeks prior to your cruise is when the final guest count and final details need to be solidified. The final balance is also due 2 weeks prior to the cruise date.
Please note, glitter, confetti, and scattered flower petals (real or artificial) are strictly prohibited. Any decoration you wish to bring on board must be approved by the Special Event Coordinator at least 2 weeks prior to your cruise. Yes, a cake or cupcakes/specialty dessert are welcome on board.
